Business Administrator (Customer Advisor & Content Assistant)

About the Role
We are seeking a versatile and customer-focused Business Administrator to join our growing team. This role blends administration, content support, and customer service — ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in helping customers both in person and online.
Our business serves a diverse community with a strong presence in the South Asian market, so it’s essential that the ideal candidate can communicate fluently in Urdu and understands South Asian culture, values, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & In-Store Advisory
- Greet and assist walk-in customers professionally and warmly
- Provide in-store support and product/service recommendations
- Help clients with general queries and ensure high-quality customer experiences
Business Administration
- Handle day-to-day tasks such as bookings, emails, inventory, and customer communication
- Support with stock checks, order processing, and maintaining organised records
- Assist in managing appointments, follow-ups, and basic reporting
Photo & Video Editing (Customer Support Focused)
- Assist customers with basic photo edits, touch-ups, and print formatting
- Help clients edit short videos for events, social media, or business promotion
- Provide support to walk-in customers who want content for platforms like Instagram or TikTok
- Recommend creative solutions for personal or business content (e.g. reels, invites, social posts)
- Use editing tools like Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, or Adobe Premiere Pro to deliver fast and clean results
Cultural Awareness & Language
- Communicate confidently in both English and Urdu
- Understand and respect South Asian traditions, preferences, and social etiquette
- Help the business better connect with its core audience through culturally relevant service
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent in English and Urdu
- Confident, friendly, and professional communicator
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Basic to intermediate experience in photo/video editing tools
- A team player who can multitask and take initiative
- A genuine understanding of and connection with South Asian culture
Preferred But Not Essential
- Prior experience in admin, retail, or customer service
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut
- Understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
