Photographer (Customer-Facing with Editing Skills)

About the Role


We are hiring an experienced Photographer to join our team. This role involves working directly with customers in-store, handling both photography and photo editing tasks. You must already be confident in your skills — training will not be provided.

You’ll be supporting clients with passport photos, portraits, and custom edits, as well as assisting them with printing and digital requests. As we serve a primarily South Asian customer base, fluency in Urdu and cultural understanding is essential.

Key Responsibilities


Photography & Customer Shoots
- Take professional-grade photos for passport, ID, portraits, and more
- Operate cameras, lighting, and backdrops with confidence
- Work one-on-one with customers to ensure they are happy with their photos
- Maintain a clean, organised shooting space and equipment

Customer Service & Shop Support
- Welcome and assist customers in-store
- Offer advice on photo packages, frames, and printing options
- Handle bookings, payments, and walk-in services
- Provide a professional and culturally respectful experience

Photo Editing & Content Support
- Use editing tools like Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, or CapCut to edit customer photos
- Offer personalised photo services including social media-ready content, flyers, and collages
- Deliver clean, high-quality edits suitable for print or digital use
- Meet customer deadlines and uphold quality standards

Cultural Awareness & Language
- Communicate fluently in both English and Urdu
- Understand South Asian customer preferences such as modest retouching, traditional presentation styles, and cultural events
- Be comfortable working with families, older clients, and community members

What We’re Looking For


- Experience required in photography and photo editing (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Confident using DSLR cameras, lighting setups, and editing software
- Fluent in Urdu and English
- Friendly, respectful, and professional with all customers
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deliver results independently

- Training is not provided – applicants must already have the necessary skills and experience
- This role is best suited to someone who can hit the ground running
